Windows Process Description:

The tasktrap.exe is an executable process file which is associated with the Task Catcher Utility that allows the user to proficiently monitor programs that are running on the user's system without compromising system performance. The Task Catcher, which is incorporated with the process file tasktrap.exe, will block unnecessary programs from running and restarting the user's favorite programs if they are disabled or the user encounters a system crash. The Task Catcher version 1.0 application, and is located in folder [% C: /Program Files /task catcher /tasktrap.exe %]. It is deemed safe to leave the tasktrap.exe to run at start-up and it also safe for the tasktrap.exe to be left residing inside the computer's system since there are no reports that this certain file tasktrap.exe has encountered conflicts with other device drivers or Windows system processes.
