Windows Process Description:

A Lotus Suite Start executable file, the SUITEST.EXE process is also part of the Lotus Smart Suite application developed by International Business Machines (IBM). The company started to develop the program to cater for the needs of the people when it comes to monitoring information and subsequently storing or retrieving data.

The SUITEST.EXE process allows the user to easily convert the files from the previous versions of the Lotus Smart Suite program and other applications for the business into the more advanced or recent formats used by the industry. The SUITEST.EXE process also places the different components of Lotus in the taskbar upon the initialization of Windows. The SUITEST.EXE process can be accessed by going to the Start Menu< Programs and finally selecting the appropriate icon under the necessary application. It is highly advised to leave the SUITEST.EXE process running in the system. Whenever problems with the SUITEST.EXE process and the other core components of the main application occur, the SUITEST.EXE file can be disabled via MSCONFIG at Startup as the Lotus Suite start 97 Edition.
