The PowerStrip program uses a simple menu that pops up from the system tray. This menu provides the user with access to about 500 controls over the system's display hardware. The user can make sophisticated and detailed color corrections, adjust period levels over screen geometry and control driver independent clocks. The PowerStrip program can also detect when programs are being launched and responds by activating specific display settings, performance switches, gamma adjustments and clock speeds. Once the program is closed, the PowerStrip software will return all settings back to normal, the way they were, before the launch.
