Aside from the downloading program, the download of the Piolet program also includes other features such as Hot List, Weblinks Support, Media Player, Multisource and Autoresumable downloads, Chat, Playlist, voice Chat and Advanced Search.

The Piolet Networks program was created developed and is being distributed by the MP2P Technologies which is a peer to peer protocol developed by Pablo Soto. Aside from Piolet Networks it also powers the Blubster and Manolito music file sharing networks.
