The file launch32.exe is a system process which was developed by Microsoft Corporation for its Microsoft Windows Operating System. It is a part of Microsoft Systems Management Server, also called SMS. The Systems Management Server provides distribution of application and security patches on a remote network.

The launch32.exe application is an executable file which allows system and network administrators to properly manage and control their network via remote means. These series of tasks include installation of software updates, application of security patches and modification of system settings.

The process launch32.exe is also known as Microsoft Launch32. It is an important component of the Windows operating system for its stability and security; therefore, it should not be disabled.

The file launch32.exe is a valid application that is located in the subfolder of C:/Windows/or usually in C:/Windows/MS/SMS/Core/Bin/. It has known file sizes of 64368 bytes, 73072 bytes, 74608 bytes and 86016 bytes. The most common occurrence of the process launch32.exe on Windows XP is 73584 bytes which is 50% of its entire total occurrence.
