The process idcom.exe, also called ID Commander, is the core component of the software ID Commander with the most current file version of 1.23. Through a TAPI-compliant modem, the program idcom.exe monitors the identification of all incoming calls without interfering with other applications such as dial-up networking. To reveal the identity of the caller without the need to look at the computer monitor, the program idcom.exe allows the addition of a sound file to be played when a call is received.

The program idcom.exe displays a visible window. It has the ability to record data inputs.
