The file firstreboot.exe is commonly bundled along with the hardware drivers for the Hercules brand and Hercules related sound cards. Specifically, the process firstreboot.exe is associated with Crystal Sound Cards (version 5.01.000), Gamesurround Fortissimo III (version v1.00.000), and Game Theater XP 7.1 (version 5.00.000).

The firstreboot.exe file is a product specific hardware driver, which means that it is appropriate only for the products mentioned above. When running, the firstreboot.exe process will call upon and work with associated files to interact with other programs (such as music players, movie players, and other programs that requires audio output) to make sure proper function of its supported hardware.
