The f1tray.exe process is a part of the MightyPhone Software, which is an application that allows wireless synchronization of data between a mobile phone and a computer-based organizer. The process f1tray.exe is necessary to keep an icon in the System Tray that will in turn provide the user an easy access to the MightyPhone application.

The MightyPhone is an application that facilitates change of data between mobile handsets and PCs without the cumbersome task of connecting the devices directly using cables. It allows 2-way management of contacts, calendar, notes, and other tasks directly from frequently used applications such as Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook, and the likes.

The System Tray is at the Windows Taskbar, usually situated at the lower right portion of the monitor. It is the task of the f1tary.exe process to produce an icon on that corner next to the clock, volume control, and others. The point of which of course, is to provide easy access to system functions or programs.

It is the user's discretion to have the Mighty Phone accessible straightaway from the System Tray using the f1tray.exe process.
