The exshow95.exe file is the main driver file for Kensington mouse device. As such, the exshow95.exe process is required by the operating system to make the inputs from the device useful. To copy the exshow95.exe file and its other associated files, you must have the installer CD. This CD is usually found bundled with the device when first bought in a computer store. After obtaining the installer CD, you will need to insert it to the CD Rom drive of your computer. A set-up wizard will appear to guide you through the installation process. After completing this procedure, the exshow95.exe file and other files needed by the device will be copied to the system folder of your main hard-drive. By that time, you will be able to use the mouse device with its full functionality.

The exshow95.exe file has an internal name of KMOUSE. It is normally located in C:/Windows/System or C:/Windows/System32 folder. The exshow95.exe file is commonly found to have a file size of 45.1 Kb. Aside from doing the normal functions of a device driver, the exshow95.exe file also enhances some of the features of Kensington products. As for the mouse, the exshow95.exe file allows the device to have some characteristics and features, which are commonly found in enhanced models of Logitec and other MS devices.

It is okay to leave the exshow95.exe program running at startup. This ensures that your mouse will work upon startup of your computer. Also, since it is a system process, the exshow95.exe process is generally required to keep normal operation of your computer. If you are using Kensington products as peripherals or as tools to your main computer, the more it is important to leave the exshow95.exe file running.
