The process eventmgr.exe is a part of the ScanWizard software that comes with Microtek scanners. This program is developed by Microtek International Inc, a Taiwan-based company that manufactures digital imaging products and other types of consumer electronics.

The main purpose of the file eventmgr.exe is to implement the configuration options which the user sets up in relation to the Microtek scanner. The eventmgr.exe file performs the said task once the user has configured the front panel button of the Microtek scanner through the Event Manager module.
