The process e_soeic1.exe is part of the application EPSON Stylus Monitor for a variety of EPSON Stylus printers developed and distributed by Seiko EPSON Corporation.
The file e_soeic1.exe is included with the driver package installer in your Installation CD that comes with your EPSON Stylus printers, or can be downloaded from the site http://www.epson.com/. The file takes up a total physical size of 120KB.
Once installed in your system, the e_soeic1.exe will automatically be included in your startup group and would initialize upon system boot. It has a startup registry value depending on your printer model located under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/ Microsoft/ Windows/ CurrentVersion/ Run/.
The process e_soeic1.exe will have an icon on the system tray if active in the system. The process will remain active even if the printer is turned off or not connected to your system. A window will appear if the icon is clicked and would automatically detect the printer once turned on or connected.
