As part of the Status Monitor 3 for EPSON Stylus Photo R300 printer, the process e_s4i2fi.exe is developed by Seiko EPSON Corporation to synchronize the said device to Microsoft Windows Operating System, thus giving the user the full functionality of the printing device.
The file e_s4i2fi.exe will be located under a folder in C:/Windows/System32/Spool/Drivers/once it is installed in the system. Since the process will be included in the startup group, as well as a startup registry value in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run/or HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run/, it will initiate once the operating system boots.
Once executed, an icon will be placed in the system tray to indicate that the process e_s4i2fi.exe is active.
