Windows Process Description:

The process dribat32.exe is part of the Turbo-Media KE9801 Multimedia Keyboard drivers released by Dritek Systems, Inc. The process dribat32.exe is required for the multimedia keys in the KE9801 keyboard to function.

When the Turbo-Media KE9801 Multimedia Keyboard driver is installed in your system, the process dribat32.exe will be included in your startup group and would initialize upon boot. The process dribat32.exe will call upon hosts of DLLs that is connected with multimedia functions included internet browsers, media players, email applications, volume controls.

Multimedia keys in the KE980 include basic media controls such as play, forward, rewind, stop, and mute. It also has keys that will call out specific programs that are set on default on your system. For example, if you press the Music key, it will load Windows Media Player if the application is your default music player.

The process dribat32.exe has a startup registry value under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE /SOFTWARE /Microsoft /Windows /CurrentVersion/Run/
